Born on 3 May 1930, in Joinville, SC, son of João Gomes de Oliveira Júnior and Elsa Ziemann. The witnesses to his civil registration were Juliao Favre, an engineer, and Guilherme Schoenninger, a tailor. He married Osvaldina Olício. They had three children: Luís, Adílson and Eliane de Oliveira. He died on 6 August 1993, aged 63, in Joinville, SC.
